Financial Controller

Reed Finance is partnering with a growing manufacturing SME to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to join the SLT and play a key part in driving financial performance, governance and strategic growth.Reporting to the Managing Director and CEO, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, leading a small finance team while providing commercial insight and financial direction across a multi-entity business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly management accounts, variance analysis and board reportingDeliver budgets, forecasts and financial modellingOversee manufacturing costing, margins and operational performanceManage cash flow, working capital and invoice financeEnsure VAT, tax, audit and statutory complianceAct as key contact for auditors and group financeMaintain balance sheet integrity, fixed assets and inventoryOversee payroll, pensions and finance operations (AP/AR)Lead CapEx appraisals and investment decisionsProvide commercial partnering across the businessDevelop and lead a high-performing finance teamSkills and ExperienceACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or QBE)Manufacturing or stock-intensive backgroundStrong costing, margin and cash flow expertiseKnowledge of audit, compliance and financial controlsExperience with invoice financeAdvanced Excel and ERP systems (Sage desirable)Proven team leadership and developmentCommercially focused, analytical and hands-onThis is a fantastic opportunity to step ..... full job details .....
