Interim Financial ControllerLocation: Poole, DorsetJob Type: Full-time, Temporary (Interim)Salary: £36 p/h Start Date: 16th MarchExpected Duration: OngoingAn established, independently owned multi-branch business within the wholesale sector is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead and elevate its finance function. This is a key operational role covering full-cycle accounting, monthly reporting, rebate management and team leadership. You will also take responsibility for the financial administration of a small property portfolio.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an all-round, owner-managed environment where your contribution truly makes an impact.Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (30-minute lunch)Working Arrangements: Fully office-based. Remote or hybrid working is not available. Hours are fixed and non-negotiable.Key ResponsibilitiesWholesale BusinessProduce accurate monthly PandL and balance sheet reportingOversee AP, AR, payroll, VAT, PAYE, tax and all control accountsEnsure timely and accurate supplier invoice processing and paymentsMaintain strong processes for customer payment collectionPrepare monthly and annual financial reports with trend and variance analysisLead, mentor and develop the finance teamImprove systems, processes and internal controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting and cost-saving initiativesInvestigate discrepancies to ensure clean, reliable financial dataRebate ManagementMaintain accurate supplier rebate ..... full job details .....
