Financial Controller

RECfinancial has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a Financial Controller for a well-established Leicester-based business. The role is commutable from Leicester, Hinckley, Loughborough, Nottingham, Corby and Kettering. A major Sage Intact implementation is planned, alongside a continued focus on improving reporting, controls and finance processes. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead and manage the finance function, overseeing a well-established finance team. This person will take ownership of all aspects of management and financial accounts, alongside responsibility for month-end reporting, balance sheet ownership, financial controls, team development and process improvement. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills, previous team management experience and the ability to improve finance processes and controls.
