Financial Controller

An established and growing project-led business is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function This is a broad role offering genuine variety and visibility across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for maintaining robust financial controls, improving processes and providing meaningful financial information to support business performance. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the day-to-day finance functionProduce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecastsManage cashflow, working capital and financial reportingPrepare statutory accounts and support audit requirementsEnsure VAT, PAYE and regulatory complianceSupport project costing, margin analysis and operational reportingDevelop and improve financial controls, systems and processesPartner with operational managers to drive profitability and performanceLead and develop a small finance teamAbout YouACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experiencePrevious experience within a Financial Controller or senior finance roleStrong management accounting, financial control and reporting experienceExperience within a contracting, construction, engineering or project-based environment would be advantageousCommercially minded with a proactive, hands-on approachStrong systems, process improvement and stakeholder management skillsConfident working closely with senior leadership teamsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to ..... full job details .....
