Financial Controller

A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Financial Controller to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and paying 55,000 - 65,000 per annum depending on experience.Reporting to the MD, key duties include but are not limited to:Maintain and reconcile company accounts using Xero accounting software, working in conjunction with other softwareFully own and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, including debtor collection and chasing payments.Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management reviewMonitor and manage day-to-day cash flow and assist with budgeting processesPrepare monthly and assist in the preparation of year-end accounts by providing necessary documentation and explanationsSupport junior bookkeeping staff and provide training where necessaryReview financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistencyLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as requiredSkills and Experience required to be considered for this Financial Controller position:ACA/ACCA qualifiedExperience and proficiency in using XeroStrong understanding of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with accounts payable processes is highly desirableAnalytical mindset with problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlinesIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would ..... full job details .....
