Financial Controller

NLB Solutions are working with a manufacturing business that are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join as a Financial Controller for a period of 6 months on a fixed term contract. Our client is looking for someone that comes from a similar background and work closely with hands on and dynamic MD. This role has one person reporting in to them and will be office based for the 6 months but this role is now live as the company will be recruiting for this role on a permanent basis in the future. The business offers a fast paced environment that is based alongside the manufacturing site. They are looking someone that can commit to completing the full 6 months with the possibility of the role converting into a permanent opportunity. Duties: Financial Reporting and Month-End Close Lead the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments. Deliver accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting. Prepare management accounts, KPI reporting, and detailed variance analysis. Ensure timely reporting to corporate finance teams. Financial Planning and Analysis Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Develop and enhance reporting tools and financial analysis capabilities. Perform pricing evaluations and profitability analysis.
