Financial Controller

The JobA Financial Controller will be hired for a 6 month period with a view to becoming permanent. This hire will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company''s financial accounting, transaction processing, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and treasury management. This position with closely with the CEO and the Finance Business Partners, with accountability for the integrity of financial records, financial controls and the delivery of statutory and management reporting.Key Areas of Responsiblies:Financial Accounting and ReportingTransaction Processing and ControlsTreasury and Cash ManagementTaxation and ComplianceTeam Leadership and DevelopmentThe businessA growing SME organisation with UK HQ and a European presenceAbout YouA fully Qualified Accountant would be preferred, however Qualified by Experience candidates with relevant financial controller experience will be consideredSignificant experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, and tax complianceUK GAAP (IFRS) knowledge is desireableExperience in transaction-heavy, multi channel e-commerce or retail environments would be beneficialProven ability top manage high-volume transactions and complex accounting processesKnowledge of EU VAT and cross-border trade complianceProficiency with ERP and accounting ..... full job details .....
