Financial ControllerWe are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Maidstone and seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller to lead financial management and reporting activities within a production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels, contributing to financial governance while supporting business growth and operational decision-making. The RoleThe Financial Controller will take ownership of financial reporting, controls, and day-to-day finance operations within a growing, UK and internationally focused manufacturing business. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational and commercial teams while helping to strengthen financial processes and reporting capabilities. ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, including group and multi-currency reporting, maintaining balance sheet control and cash flow forecasting, and leading budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also oversees day-to-day finance operations, including stock, WIP and manufacturing cost controls, while supporting month-end and year-end close. You will coordinate external audits, ensure strong financial controls and compliance, and provide reporting and financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.
