Financial Controller

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of a broad finance function, improve reporting and controls, and provide meaningful commercial insight to senior leadership. Client Details Michael Page Finance is delighted to be partnering with one of our key clients, a successful and growing privately owned group based in Leeds, to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. Description Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple Group entities. Review PandL, balance sheet and cash flow reporting. Produce Board reporting packs with clear commentary and commercial analysis. Own weekly short and long-term cash flow forecasting. Review and improve the monthly Group consolidation process. Prepare year-end statutory accounts. Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors. Support Companies House compliance and statutory filings. Develop and improve the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Improve KPI reporting and provide greater commercial insight to senior management. Support business plans and funding proposals. Drive automation and continuous improvement across finance processes and controls. Oversee VAT, PAYE, CIS and payroll-related activities.
