Financial Controller

Reporting to: Finance Director Start Date: Immediate Working Hours: Mon Fri, 9am 5pm Probation Period: 6 months Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Job Location: Office Based SCOPE The Financial Controller is a senior-level responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with financial regulations, and the overall financial health of the company. The Financial Controller acts as a bridge between the finance department and executive management, providing insights and guidance on financial matters to support strategic decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting To ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. This includes managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, consolidating financial data, balance sheet reconciliation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Financial Controller will also prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external entities, such as auditors and regulatory bodies. Budgeting and Forecasting The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and the commercial team to develop budgets that align with the organisation s strategic goals.
