A newly created, entirely commercially focused role with high visibility across the Group. Responsible for leading Strategic Projects across the Group, aimed at delivering value creation (i.e. increasing profitability) in the lead up to a substantial corporate transaction.Reporting to the Finance Director and collaborating with the Group leadership team, Business Unit leadership teams and external advisors, core responsibilities include:Using FPandA skills to develop multi-year forecasting and operating models and associated scenario planningDevelopment of new business insight toolsSupporting Business Unit SLTs in development and articulation of strategies for future value creationUsing Financial Control and Business Process skills to improve processes and use of systems to drive efficienciesEvaluation and presentation of strategies for the delivery of efficiency and productivity improvements and ROIMandA support and commercial due diligenceStrategic, data-led decision support across growth initiatives and operational planningThe Candidate
Commercially astute qualified accountant with a preference for
ACA qualifiedMUST have experience in one or more manufacturing
businessesStrong analytical, modelling, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in FPandA, Transaction Services or Audit preferredExposure to complex
international
environments and/or
PE-backed businesses
