Financial Controller - Maternity Cover

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 FTE, depending on experience Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover (12 month fixed term contract) Start date: November 2026 Hours: 4 or 5 days per week Location: Hybrid - approximately 1 day per week in our London office, with home working Reporting to: Fractional Head of Finance About the role We''re looking for an experienced, hands-on Financial Controller to provide maternity cover across two sister companies, Myley Transport and Myley Education (Trading as Boost). Both businesses share a purpose: improving the lives of people living and working in care homes. Myley Transport provides fully managed excursions and experiences that help care home residents stay connected with the world around them, while Boost is an AI-enabled education and policy platform helping care organisations equip their teams to deliver exceptional care. This is a varied role spanning both businesses, with responsibility for financial control, management information and day-to-day finance leadership. You''ll own the monthly management accounts and core finance operations to help provide the commercial insight that helps our teams make informed decisions. You''ll work closely with our Fractional Head of Finance and colleagues across sales, operations and leadership, as well as our outsourced HR provider.
