Financial Controller

I am currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join an high-growth Legal Firm based in London. The organisation is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller who will be tasked with driving the growth of their finance function through a mix of strategic and operational expertise.About the role -You will be leading on the month end process - dealing with AR/AP,payroll, month end close etc.Tasked with producing monthly management accounts and financial statements.Dealing with cash flowLeading on budgeting, forecasting as well as financial modelling.Liaising with auditors, banks and external professionalsDeveloping and enhancing current processes and functionsMain point of contact for the Directors, legal teams and various stakeholders.In order to be successful for this role candidates need a background within the legal sector and MUST be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5 years'' experience PQE. A track record of building out a finance team is desirable, in addition to demonstrating knowledge of process improvement and system implementation. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and VAT experience is ideal for this position. The organisation currently uses Proclaim, so previous experience of it or similar systems will help you stand out from the crowd.The role will allow the successful applicant hybrid working, with their central London offices having great transport links to London and the surrounding areas.
