This is a key leadership position within a successful SME, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and work closely with senior leadership to drive business performance, profitability, and future growth. The successful candidate will combine strong financial control with commercial awareness and will have previous experience working within a retail or stock-led trading environment. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the finance function.Produce monthly management accounts and board-level reporting.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.Deliver commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Oversee financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.Manage VAT, payroll, and statutory reporting processes.Monitor inventory, margins, and working capital performance.Drive process improvements and systems development.Partner with senior stakeholders across the business.Skills and ExperienceEssentialACCA, ACA, CIMA qualifiedPrevious experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar senior finance role.Strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow experience.Proven experience within a retail or consumer products business.Experience operating within a stock-led environment, ..... full job details .....
