Financial Controller Location: Magherafelt areaJob Type: Full-time, permanent, site-basedSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 Private MedicalDue to retirement, our growing commercial client seeks to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to lead and control their finance function, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate and timely reporting, and full statutory compliance. This pivotal role will provide clear commercial insight through budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial analysis, supporting operational performance and their ongoing growth and expansion.Day-to-day of the role:Financial Reporting and Control:Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Act as the principal liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit planning and ensuring timely completion of audits.Compile and present financial reports, forecasts, business plans, and statutory financial statements to senior management.Budgeting, Forecasting and Commercial Support:Prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts, including scenario modelling and risk analysis.Support pricing models for services, ensuring margins reflect operational costs and capital investment.Provide commercial support to operations and sales teams, including contract reviews and financial appraisals.Statutory Compliance and Taxation:Manage VAT, PAYE, and other statutory and regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with current ..... full job details .....
