Financial Controller

An established and successful electrical wholesale business is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the company. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. With a significant number of transactions moving through the business, strong cash flow management and financial control will be absolutely central to the position. Managing a team of 4 finance staff, you''ll oversee the finance function while providing accurate, timely information to support the senior management team and wider business. The Role Managing and developing a finance team of 4 Taking ownership of cash flow management, forecasting and working capital Overseeing a high volume of financial transactions Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting Managing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control Monitoring debtor and creditor positions Bank reconciliations and management of banking requirements VAT returns and other statutory financial requirements Maintaining robust financial controls, processes and procedures Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants/auditors Providing financial analysis and commercial insight to senior management Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and efficiencies The Candidate Previous experience as a Financial Controller, ..... full job details .....
