Financial Controller Location: ConsettSalary: CompetitiveKCR Solutions are delighted to be working exclusively with a dynamic and growing business in Consett to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the company s financial operations and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company s finances, providing accurate financial information, meaningful insight and commercial support to senior management.Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will be varied and hands-on, with responsibility for: Producing accurate monthly management accounts and statutory accountsPreparing and managing budgets and financial forecasts, reporting key findings to senior managementManaging corporation tax, VAT returns and monthly balance sheet reconciliationsWorking closely with team members to monitor and discuss progress on job costingsAnalysing project costs against revenue and highlighting key variancesIdentifying, exploring and applying for relevant grant funding opportunitiesManaging payroll and ensuring PAYE and VAT submissions are completed accurately and on time with HMRCOverseeing accounts payable and accounts receivableManaging cash flow and intercompany invoicingCarrying out credit control and negotiating appropriate payment termsProviding accurate and ..... full job details .....
