Financial Controller

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this successful company to recruit a Financial Controller to take full ownership of the company''s finance function, overseeing all daily accounting and financial management.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on role in a fast-paced SME environment. Your duties will be as follows:Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, cash flow analysis, and variance commentary.Presenting financial performance and key commercial metrics clearly to the MD each month.Leading the year-end statutory account preparation and filing process, acting as the primary point of contact for external UK auditors or accountants.Responsible for the general ledger, overseeing daily transaction processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Maintaining and updating cash flow forecast model on a weekly basis to manage working capital and monitor operational runway.Proactively managing supplier payment cycles to preserve the company''s cash buffer during peak outflow weeks.Overseeing the company''s banking relationships and direct active credit control efforts to minimise debtor days.Collating all monthly payroll adjustments (including new starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, bonuses, and statutory pay like SSP/SMP) into a submission log.Liaising directly with the external payroll administrator.Auditing BACS files prior to final fund release, ensuring accurate ..... full job details .....
