Looking for a Financial Controller to join the team within an Investment Management firm, supporting the wider finance function, investment team, and the MD.Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise accounting processes, working with external SPV administrators and accounting firms to produce accurate and timely information, including:Quarterly accounts and investor reporting;Monitoring and reviewing transactions such as capital calls, distribution calculations, and notices;Reviewing management fee and carry calculations;Managing receivables and payables for SPV entities;Assisting with liquidity forecasting for SPV entities;Ensuring robust controls over cash movements from SPVs, collaborating with asset/property managers to monitor and report cash flows;Maintaining and implementing financial reporting systems aligned with frameworks like IFRS and FRS102, and complying with relevant legislation;Developing understanding of investment holding structures and ensuring their proper maintenance;Collaborating with SPV administrators, accounting firms, and auditors to facilitate timely and successful audits, including reviewing financial statements;Ensuring investors receive timely financial information and reports;Working alongside asset/property managers on financial and compliance matters related to Management Company group entities;Supervising external accounting firms in preparing quarterly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and tax returns;Providing support for transactions and deals.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university, ideally in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines;0-2 years PQE working for an investment manager and/or advisory firm, with some experience in real ..... full job details .....
