Financial Controller

This privately owned business is based in Birmingham and is recruiting for a newly created position of Financial Controller. The business is already well-established and highly profitable and seeking to treble its turnover and profitability in the next three years. The business is experiencing significant organic growth and will look to augment this with acquisitions and potentially undertake debt or equity raises to support growth. This is a brand-new position that will report into a high-calibre CFO. The professional will oversee the management of the existing finance team and will play a crucial role in taking the business to the next level alongside the senior leadership team. Key to this will be ensuring the provision of accurate timely management KPI and financial information, incisive analysis to drive top-line, gross margin and bottom-line profitability and critically taking the lead on continually improving system and control processes. Reporting into the CFO, responsibilities will include: Producing and presenting the monthly management accounts to include profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow.
