EA First is delighted to be partnering with a major international logistics business to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a 15-month fixed-term contract. Operating across logistics, infrastructure and supply chain solutions, the organisation helps businesses move goods efficiently between international markets through a combination of large-scale physical infrastructure, operational expertise and technology. Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Financial Controller will take ownership of financial control and reporting across key UK operations. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing financial control across revenue, operational costs, capital expenditure and cash flow. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining strong accounting controls and processes. Supporting statutory accounts, VAT, CIS and other regulatory reporting requirements. Managing internal and external audit activity and ensuring compliance with UK and international accounting standards. Driving improvements across finance systems, cash forecasting and wider financial processes. Partnering with senior stakeholders to support business performance, planning and strategic objectives.
