Financial Controller - European Business London Hybrid E-commerce We''re working with a fast-growing, international e-commerce business as they continue to build out their finance function in London. They are looking for a qualified accountant to take ownership of the finance function for one of their European businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who is ready to step into their first Financial Controller role, or someone who has had limited experience at FC level and is looking to broaden their responsibilities. The role Reporting into the senior finance team, you''ll have ownership of the day-to-day financial management and reporting for a European entity, working closely with both the wider London finance team and local operational stakeholders. You''ll be responsible for ensuring strong financial control while also getting involved in the commercial and operational side of the business. Key responsibilities will include: Ownership of the monthly management and financial reporting cycle Balance sheet management, reconciliations and financial controls Oversight of the month-end close process Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Working with operational teams to understand financial performance Managing statutory accounting and audit requirements Ensuring compliance with relevant local accounting and tax requirements Supporting cash flow management and working capital Identifying opportunities to improve processes, ..... full job details .....
