Financial Controller £65,000 - £70,000 West Midlands ACA / ACCA / CIMA Hybrid Long-term progression We are partnering with an established multi-entity organisation operating within a people-focused, regulated sector to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. This is a broad, hands-on role where you''ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while working closely with senior leadership and operational teams across the business. It''s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail but can also step back, understand the wider commercial picture and use the numbers to help the business make better decisions. There''s also genuine longer-term scope to progress towards Finance Director as you develop within the organisation over a number of years. What you''ll be doing Producing monthly management accounts across a multi-entity structure and consolidating these reports. Producing statutory accounts and supporting year-end requirements Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting Maintaining strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity Providing commercial analysis and insight to senior leadership translating financial information into practical, easy-to-understand advice Supporting commercial projects and wider business initiatives Managing and developing a small finance team of two direct reports.
