Financial Controller

Our client is an established specialist manufacturer, continually developing their product range for a global customer base. They seek a Financial Controller to join the team, you will support the Finance Director by taking control of financial and management reporting and all areas of finance transactions. Key areas of responsibility will include:Managing a small team, supervising and reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivableAuthorising and approving payment runsManaging weekly cash flowManaging the company payroll processManaging inter-company reconciliations across group companiesOverseeing and finalising bank reconciliationsSupervising the project costing review tracker to ensure agreed margins are achieved on each project, working with operational teams to ensure robust financial controls are in place.Producing regular cost reports for larger projects and conducting project variance analysis upon completionConducting departmental margin analysis based on monthly and year-to-date resultsMaintaining the finance and sales tracker to ensure information is accurate and up to date for financial forecastingEnsuring all projects have appropriate contracts in placeManaging the company''s taxation affairs, including quarterly VAT returns across the groupPreparing and presenting annual budgetsPreparing and presenting quarterly forecastsSuccessful candidates will have experience working at Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or Head of Finance roles previously. ..... full job details .....
