Financial ControllerSalary: Up to £65,000, with some flexibility for an exceptional candidateLocation: MansfieldWorking pattern: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the officeReports to: CFODirect report: Management AccountantWe are recruiting a Financial Controller for an established business based in Mansfield.This is a broad and visible role, responsible for leading the day-to-day financial management of the business and ensuring senior leaders have accurate, timely and meaningful financial information.Working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, you will oversee the delivery of management reporting, maintain a strong financial control environment and help improve the way financial information is produced and communicated across the business.The role will also involve managing and developing a Management Accountant.The roleKey responsibilities will include:Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reportingReviewing performance against budget and forecast, highlighting key trends, risks and opportunitiesProviding clear financial commentary and insight to the CFO and wider businessBusiness partnering with teams across the organisation to improve financial understandingIdentifying opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and ways of workingStreamlining reporting and helping to reduce the month-end timetableImproving the efficiency and consistency of financial processesSupporting the implementation of new controls and reporting ..... full job details .....
