Client Details

As the Financial Controller, you''ll play a pivotal role in leading and streamlining the company''s month-end processes, driving operational improvements, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting across multiple jurisdictions. Description

• Lead and improve month-end close process, targeting shorter close cycles and increased accuracy.

• Oversee financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual), ensuring timely consolidation across international entities.

• Balance sheet substantiation and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvement across transactional finance (AP, AR, Billing, Payroll)

• Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and implement best practices to improve automation and controls.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, and Product Finance teams to align reporting with broader business needs.

• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.

• Mentor and support the finance team during the transition period, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Strong track record of leading process improvements, with tangible examples of outcomes/achievements.
• Strong experience leading financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a temporary role with hybrid working arrangements.
