Financial Controller - UK Operations

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and internal controls for its UK-based specialist production business. This is a pivotal role within the UK management team, offering the opportunity to work closely with commercial stakeholders and lead a finance team of 6.

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting
• Oversee efficient accounts receivable and payable processes
• Partner with commercial teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions
• Manage internal controls and drive process improvements, especially through automation
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
• Lead and develop the UK Finance team

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record in process improvement and financial analysis
• Experience of working in a complex, global manufacturing business
• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills

• Hybrid working model (2-3 days/week in the office)

This is a great opportunity to be responsible for the day to day running of the UK business, reporting into the Finance Director.
