Financial Controller

SF Recruitment are working with an exciting service business based in Birmingham, for the recruitment of an ambitious Financial Controller.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and really add value to the role and therefore the wider company. The Business is looking for a forward thinking, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the Finance team and support the Finance Director to drive the business forward.
Working closely with the FD, duties of the role will include:

- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow control
- Produce monthly management accounts with clear commentary and actionable insights
- Lead the annual audit process and manage relationships with external advisors
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Provide commercial analysis to support pricing, investment, and growth decisions
- Manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements

To be considered for this role you will have an entrepreneurial nature and will have demonstrated clear value add activities in the companies you''ve worked at previously.

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), and seeking opportunity in a fast paced, dynamic, profitable business where you will really be able to grow and develop the role as this division grows.
