Financial Controller (Manufacturing) £60,000 - £70,000, Including Car allowance A well-established manufacturing company based in the Ripley area is seeking a Financial Controller to join its finance team in a key number two role, reporting to the Financial Director. This is a hands-on Financial Controller position covering both operational and management accounting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to costing, stock, and group reporting. The role will also play a key part in supporting the business through a period of continued integration into a larger international group. Financial Controller Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accountsFull month-end close including balance sheet reconciliationsOwnership of standard costing and manufacturing variance analysisMaintenance of BOMs and stock accountingSupervision of AP, AR, and day-to-day finance operationsVAT returns and statutory complianceSupport with audits (internal and external)Group reporting into international parent companySupervision and development of a small finance teamContinuous improvement of financial processes and controls Requirements Strong manufacturing finance background essentialExperience with standard costing, BOMs, stock and WIPStrong understanding of manufacturing variancesExperience producing management accounts and month-end processesTeam leadership or supervisory experienceExposure to a multi-entity or group reporting environment ..... full job details .....
