Financial Controller Coleshill, Birmingham£65,000-£85,000 depending on experiencePermanent Full-time Office-based Are you an experienced manufacturing finance professional who wants to be closer to the operation, influence commercial decisions and play a key role in the growth of a successful privately owned business? We are recruiting a Financial Controller for an established British manufacturer based in Coleshill. The company is entering an exciting period of growth, with plans to increase turnover significantly over the next three years and develop further areas of the business. This is a broad, hands-on Financial Controller position with real influence. You will take ownership of the finance function, work closely with the Factory and Sales Directors and become an integral member of the senior management team. You will not be confined to producing reports from behind a desk. You will be expected to understand how the business manufactures its products, challenge margins and costs, identify important commercial issues and provide the directors with the insight needed to make informed decisions.The roleYou will be responsible for:Producing a full monthly management accounts pack.Providing clear commentary and analysis to the directors.Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting.Taking ownership of standard costing and inventory accounting.Investigating material usage, yield, labour, purchase price and overhead variances.Improving product, customer and order ..... full job details .....
