Financial ControllerNottingham £55,000 £65,000 Growing SMEWe re partnering with a fast-growing SME that is bringing its finance function in-house, creating an excellent opportunity for a talented Financial Controller to take ownership of finance and help shape how the function operates as the business continues to expand.The OpportunityThis newly created position will see you lead the day-to-day finance operations, produce accurate and insightful management accounts, and work closely with senior leadership to support decision-making across the business. It s a hands-on, commercially focused role where your input will genuinely influence future growth and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full ownership of management accounts, transitioning these in-house from external accountantsPrepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and detailed monthly reporting packsOversee ledgers, payments, VAT, and payroll inputsPartner with senior leaders to monitor performance and profitabilityImprove systems, processes, and reporting as the business growsAbout YouFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) essentialProven experience producing management accounts and delivering commercial insightConfident communicator who can work effectively with non-finance stakeholdersProactive, adaptable, and able to build structure in a growing SME environmentStrong attention to detail combined with a commercial mindsetThe PackageSalary between £55,000 and £65,000, depending on experienceOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
