Unique opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join one of the regions long established manufacturers during an exciting period of growth. The business is expanding and the right candidate will play a pivotal role in this over the next few years. Reporting directly to the MD you will have a proven track record of driving process improvement and working with the wider business to influence company strategy. The Role: Full PandL and management accounts responsibility presenting findings to Directors and senior management team monthly to help aid decision making. Provision of annual budgets and following monthly variance analysis and commentaries for budget holders along with reporting on KPIs. Assist in group forecasting and provide updates on resource requirements as well as variances in forecast performance against budget. Analysis of production, sales, purchasing and stock. Team up with managers across varying departments to support, advise and challenge them on performance. Quarterly VAT returns. Collaborate with FD and senior management on ad-hoc projects. The Candidate: Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CIPFA). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and accounting systems). Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels within the organisation. Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
