Financial Controller

Successful-SME-based-in-North-Walsham,-is-looking-to-appoint-an-experienced-finance-professional-into-a-broad-and-hands-on-role-within-the-business.

Working-closely-with-the-senior-leadership-team,-the-successful-candidate-will-be-responsible-for-providing-accurate-financial-information,-maintaining-strong-controls-and-supporting-the-commercial-performance-of-the-business.

Main-Duties

• Prepare-monthly-management-accounts,-P&L,-balance-sheet,-cash-flow-and-KPI-reports.
• Lead-budgeting,-forecasting-and-year-end-processes.
• Analyse-financial-performance,-variances-and-trends.
• Monitor-manufacturing-costs,-labour,-stock,-WIP-and-product-profitability.
• Support-cost-saving-initiatives-and-improvements-to-operational-efficiency.
• Manage-cash-flow,-debtors,-creditors-and-working-capital.
• Maintain-strong-financial-controls-and-ensure-statutory-and-tax-compliance.
• Coordinate-the-annual-audit-and-liaise-with-external-advisers.
• Manage-and-develop-the-finance-team.
• Work-with-operational-managers-to-improve-financial-awareness-and-accountability.
• Provide-financial-analysis-to-support-investment,-commercial-and-strategic-decisions.
• Support-the-Managing-Director-in-identifying-business-risks-and-opportunities.

Skills-&-Experience

• ACA,-ACCA-or-CIMA-qualified,-or-qualified-by-experience.
• At-least-three-years''-relevant-finance-experience.
• Previous-experience-within-a-manufacturing-environment.
• Strong-management-accounting,-cost-accounting-and-inventory-knowledge.
• Commercially-minded-with-strong-analytical-and-business-partnering-skills.
• Comfortable-working-independently-in-a-hands-on-SME-environment.
