Financial Controller

We re looking for a driven and experienced Financial Controller to join a values-led organisation in the housing sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a pivotal role leading a talented team across financial reporting and rent and service charges, while shaping the financial strategy and performance framework of the business. The role: Lead and develop the financial reporting and rent/service charge teams. Oversee all financial reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual ensuring accuracy and insight for decision-making Provide expert financial advice across the organisation, driving best practice and continuous improvement. Take responsibility for statutory accounts, audit coordinatio,n and VAT function. Drive systems improvements and maximise the use of financial data to support performance. About you: Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong background in financial leadership, ideally within housing, not-for-profit, or similar regulated sectors. Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting, planning, and compliance. Excellent communicator, able to influence at leadership and board level.
