Job Advert: Part-Time - Financial ControllerLocation: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (Office/Hybrid)Position: Part-Time / FlexibilityReports to: Managing DirectorKey Responsibilities:Leadership:Take full ownership of financial leadership, promoting company values and fostering a collaborative, accountable, and innovative culture.Partner strategically with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to provide insights and drive operational efficiency.Actively support decision-making with valuable financial insights and challenges.Financial Control:Oversee all aspects of the finance function, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.Maintain robust financial controls and manage overheads, adhering to budgets and recommending corrective actions.Lead the period-end financial close process and oversee treasury activities, including cash management and forex.Manage accounts payable/receivable processes to improve working capital.Support periodic forecasting, planning, and annual budgeting.Collaborate with external advisors, including accountants and tax specialists.Finance Team:Establish efficient, consistent standards and processes within the finance function.Coach and develop finance team members, encouraging continuous improvement.Optimise reporting processes using production management systems and Excel.Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Proven experience as a Financial Manager with a track record of driving accuracy and efficiency.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Hands-on ..... full job details .....
