Financial Controller

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing, ambitious business operating within a specialist niche sector.The business is seeking a commercially minded finance professional who can provide strong financial leadership while supporting the continued growth and development of the business. Applicants will ideally be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, although exceptional Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates will also be given full consideration. Reporting directly to the CEO, The Financial Controller will lead a small team across finance and operational functions. This highly visible, hands-on position requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders and the Board.The successful candidate will ensure robust financial management, deliver accurate and timely reporting, maintain effective financial controls, and ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesProduce accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts for both internal and external stakeholders.Prepare and analyse weekly sales, margin and performance reports.Manage month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations and reporting.Deliver insightful variance analysis and financial reporting to support decision-making by the CEO and Board.Monitor and control budgets across the business.Lead financial forecasting, cash flow planning and risk analysis activities.Reconcile VAT, import duties and related tax liabilities and ..... full job details .....
