The company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Head of Finance, to manage a small team and report to the Directors. Responsibilities include:-Oversee a team of two staff in accountsResponsibility for the day to day finance functionPreparation of month end accounts and analysisCash flow and working capital managementProduce forecasts for the bank and managementLiaise with surveyors re CVRs and retentionsVAT, CIS and weekly and monthly payrollManagement of credit insurance and pension fundLiaise with external accountant re final accounts, tax etcThe company is looking for an experienced Accountant, either qualified or qualified by experience, a previous Financial Controller or Finance Manager, ideally from the construction or manufacturing sectors, keen to join a stable well-established privately-owned business in a long term stable role.
