I am currently partnering with a leading and award-winning technology business who are growing rapidly by MandA are seeking a Qualified Financial Controller to cover Maternity.This will be a 15 month FTC. Fully remote apart from 1-2 days PM travel to London.This will involve production of high quality, accurate financial information, with a strong focus on balance sheet control. You will be a detail orientated individual who will thrive working in a fast-paced environment. You will embrace change and drive continuous improvement in processesDuties

Lead on the production and continued development of management reporting / board slides ensuring compliance with deadlines, working closely with the Group FD. Includes:Investigate billing queries, inconsistencies and anomalies,Analysis of WIP and review against budget.Balance sheet reconciliations and reviewLeading the month end close meeting.Work closely with the group business planning function to produce the annual budget and quarterly reforecastsOwn the control environment, ensuring best in class controls are in place and adhered to, including completeness of revenue, cost control and reconciliations and gross margin variance analysisParticipating in the weekly cashflowCompleting and maintaining Balance Sheet reconciliationsBusiness Partner with the business and other divisionsWorking closely with the transactional teamFocusing on continuous improvementQualifications / Skillset

QualifiedAvailable immediatelyHands on/Gets involved and has experience of process improvements and efficiencies (This is due to the business growing via MandA and currently have multiple systems they are pulling data from)Keen eye for streamlining and problem solvingPower BI – Nice to have (Not essential)Migration of systems experience – again nice to have not essentialBalance sheet / month end closeWIPSeniority level
