Financial Controller - £ + car allowance + bonus per annumAre you a Financial Controller seeking a new local role?The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial controls. The position will offer hybrid working.Key Responsibilities:Financial Management and ReportingPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure timely and accurate reporting in line with accounting standardsManage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functionsOversee budgeting and forecasting processesControl and ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and proceduresEnsure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and audit standardsLiaise with external auditors and manage audit processesCash Flow and TreasuryMonitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidityManage banking relationships and treasury activitiesOptimise cash management strategiesTeam LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the finance teamAllocate tasks, set objectives, and conduct performance reviewsBusiness PartneringProvide financial insights and recommendations to senior managementSupport strategic planning and decision-makingAnalyse financial performance and identify areas for improvementKey Skills and ExperienceEssentialQualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven ..... full job details .....
