The Organisation: The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT) is an independent body responsible for adjudicating alleged breaches of professional conduct by solicitors in England and Wales. With a budgeted annual income of approximately £3 million, funded by the Law Society the SDT ensures fairness and integrity in the legal profession through transparent hearings and decisions. They recently moved into newly fitted out premises with state-of-the-art courtroom facilities in the heart of the city. The organisation has a small but dedicated and friendly team in place together with a membership of 44, comprising Solicitors and lay members. The Opportunity: This hands-on role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and transactional work, ensuring your involvement in every aspect of financial processes.
