Financial and Compliance Accountant

Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are exclusively partnering with a national facilities management PLC to recruit a dynamic Financial and Compliance Accountant to join their rapidly growing team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The role is responsible for leading and overseeing compliance and governance activities performed by the offshore team, ensuring all statutory, regulatory and internal reporting obligations are delivered accurately and efficiently. The role will involve providing technical expertise and support to drive a culture of strong financial controls, high-quality service delivery and continuous process improvement. This permanent position is open to part-qualified/qualified finance professionals who have strong financial/statutory accounting experience looking to really add value within a fast-paced environment. Both industry accountants and financial professionals seeking a move out of accountancy practice will be considered. Your new role Your key duties will involve reviewing statutory accounts prepared by the offshore team to ensure accuracy, completeness and appropriate formatting for Group Finance amendments.
