Job Title: Financial Advisor

Location: Kendal

Salary: Up to -60,000 + OTE over -100K & Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

About the position of Financial Advisor:

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Financial Adviser to join our client, a well-established and successful financial services firm. This is a unique opportunity to inherit an existing bank of loyal clients, giving you an immediate platform to build trusted relationships while developing new opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Services, you will provide specialist advice, conduct in-depth financial reviews, and design tailored strategies to help clients achieve their long-term goals. With a Level 4 Diploma qualification, expertise in investments and pensions, and a proven compliance record, you''ll have the chance to make a real impact while enjoying excellent earning potential and long-term career growth. Full admin support is provided!

Responsibilities for the role of Financial Advisor:

  • Inherit and manage an established bank of loyal clients, while also developing new opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients'' financial circumstances, current provision, and future goals, providing tailored advice and clear recommendations.
  • Analyse information and complete risk assessments to design financial strategies that meet individual client needs.
  • Leverage dedicated administrative support to ensure smooth client service and allow you to focus on advice, strategy, and relationship-building.
  • Research the marketplace to identify and recommend the most suitable investment, pension, and wealth management products.
  • Maintain strong, long-term client relationships by responding to changing financial circumstances and proactively keeping clients informed of opportunities or legislative changes.
  • Negotiate with product providers to secure competitive terms and deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Produce professional financial reports and achieve sales targets while operating to the highest ethical and regulatory standards (FCA compliance).

Experience required for the role of Financial Advisor:

  • Level 4 Diploma Qualified in Financial Planning
  • Good knowledge around investments and pensions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Analytical thinking, research skills, and sound decision-making.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and highly organised with effective time management.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to work and high levels of customer service.
  • Numeracy and IT proficient, with a strong ethical mindset and respect for client confidentiality
