The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and forward-thinking financial planning organisation in Aberystwyth. We are supporting them to recruit an entrepreneurial and motivated Independent Financial Advisor.  This is a fantastic opportunity to build and develop your own client portfolio with structured development, and genuine long-term career progression.

The Opportunity:

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial advice while growing and developing strong, long-term client relationships. Full support will be provided for future development, including progression toward Advanced qualifications and Chartered status.

Key Responsibilities of the Independent Financial Advisor:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of all appropriate solutions to meet each client’s needs.
  • Collect, assess, and accurately document all relevant information required to deliver financial advice in line with company standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records to ensure a clear understanding of their objectives and enable suitable recommendations.
  • Build and sustain regular client contact, offering advice when needed and delivering a high level of service alongside the annual review process.
  • Stay informed of changes that may affect clients’ financial situations, with the ability to interpret developments and provide clear, appropriate guidance.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Skilled in delivering client presentations
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and products
  • Ability to identify client needs and provide tailored advice
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative
  • Studying towards an Advanced diploma in Financial Planning
