Starting from scratch means finding clients, building a brand, creating systems, arranging support, funding the business and carrying all of the risk yourself.This opportunity gives you another route. You''ll join an established financial planning practice in Edinburgh as an employed adviser on a salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus. Once signed off, you''ll be given around 70 client relationships to manage and will work alongside the current owner as those relationships are gradually handed over. But this is not simply an employed adviser role.The long-term plan is for you to acquire the whole practice. The transition will take place over three to six years.
