He appreciates the true value of things." - Robert FrostSheridan Maine is recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic organisation for a Financial Accountant to join its central London finance team.This is a challenging and rewarding position within a fast-paced and evolving environment, offering excellent opportunities for progression, development and exposure across a wider group structure.Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:Preparing weekly fixture reports, as well as month-end and year-end summary reportingSupporting the continuous improvement of processes, systems and operational efficienciesAssisting with financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly board packs, in conjunction with the Group Finance ManagerReviewing VAT returns across the groupActing as the primary contact for the audit of Head Office entities and supporting the Group Finance Manager with the wider group audit processSupporting compliance activities, including ONS surveys, ESOS, SECR reporting, and HMRC correspondenceProviding general support to the Group Finance team and wider finance functions as requiredContributing to the implementation of new processes and best practice across the functionSuccessful Financial Accountant profile:Experience in a similar finance roleACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)Self-motivated with the ability to work ..... full job details .....
