Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will have responsibility for: Preparing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 Supporting external audits Preparing VAT return and ensuring compliance Reviewing bank reconciliations and supporting treasury cashflows Overseeing supplier payments and supporting banking approvals Month end activities including accruals and prepayments Preparing group reporting schedules Balance sheet reconciliations, investigation of variances and resolution of discrepancies Providing improvement support to SAP Other ad hoc duties Suitable Candidates Graduate and Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or close to qualification) Knowledge of UK VAT Strong financial accounting experience including financial statements, providing commentary and preparing accounts under UK GAAP and/or IFRS Experience from practice or industry and someone taking first step into industry would be ideal Good reconciliation/analyt...
