Financial Accountant- Weymouth - cand;50K + Good Benefits

A Financial Accountant is being recruited by our client, an established international manufacturing and technology business based in Weymouth. The business has consistently grown and offers an excellent working environment and good development prospects. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will have responsibility for: Preparing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 Supporting external audits Preparing VAT return and ensuring compliance Reviewing bank reconciliations and supporting treasury cashflows Overseeing supplier payments and supporting banking approvals Month end activities including accruals and prepayments Preparing group reporting schedules Balance sheet reconciliations, investigation of variances and resolution of discrepancies Providing improvement support to SAP Other ad hoc duties Suitable Candidates Graduate and Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or close to qualification) Knowledge of UK VAT Strong financial accounting experience including financial statements, providing commentary and preparing accounts under UK GAAP and/or IFRS Experience from practice or industry and someone taking first step into industry would be ideal Good reconciliation/analytical skills Good Excel essential and knowledge of SAP would be desirable Attention to detail Benefits The company offers a wide range of very good benefits for example: Generous holiday starting at 25 days + bank holidays On site parking Salary sacrifice benefits inc gym membership, cycle scheme ..... full job details .....
