Financial Accountant

I am delighted to be partnering with an impressive privately owned business, with a exceptional track record of growth. I am looking for a diligent and commercially astute financial accountant to join their existing finance team. Due to the growth of the business this is a new role being created to allow someone to take ownership on all the financial accounting elements across the business, with a fast track to promotion to Financial Controller.Responsibilities include:Manage the full annual audit and preparation VAT submissions and be the lead for everything with HMRCBalance Sheet Management- Producing for the monthly management accounts and ensuring all the reconciliations are up to date across the teamPension managementManagement of Fixed AssetsAssisting with cashflow forecastsAssisting with Invoice Discounting AuditsManagement of all internal controlsSupporting statutory compliance Review and improve financial processes across the businessSkills and Experience Required:Qualified Accountant- ACA/ACCAStrong technical expertise, ideally practice trained with some industry exposureExpertise in financial reporting, statutory accounts and auditExcellent Excel skillsHigh attention to detailUsed to producing balance sheets and consolidations What you will receive:Competitive salaryPrivate MedicalExcellent career progression opportunities - with fast track to Financial Controller for the right ..... full job details .....
