Job DescriptionTradeweb’s Finance function operates a global team across two locations – New York and London. The department has over 50 employees, overseen by the CFO in New York. In London, the team is managed by the Managing Director, Head of International Finance.

We are seeking a Statutory and Regulatory Accountant to join our International Finance team. The successful candidate will develop a working knowledge of Tradeweb’s statutory financial and regulatory reporting processes with support from external accountants, service providers, and auditors.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory returns for international entities and branches.

Handle requests from auditors.

Manage statutory ledgers, including preparing journal entries.

Interpret current and upcoming accounting standards and regulatory rules to ensure IFRS and regulatory compliance.

Support finance automation projects related to statutory and regulatory reporting.

Assist in variance analysis and board minutes preparation.

Collaborate with other teams to explain financial requirements and share knowledge.

Essential Skills / Experience

University degree.

Ability to draft IFRS financial statements and regulatory returns.

Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.

A desire to understand the business beyond just numbers.

Excellent Excel skills.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Team player.

Desirable Skills / Experience

Experience in top-tier accounting firms.

Industry experience.

Experience working with large datasets.

Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, or Workiva.
