Financial Accountant Telford £31,000 - £36,000 Full-time Hybrid PermanentSeymour John is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established Telford-based organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant into their finance team.This is a hands-on, operational finance role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a finance function with exposure across transactional accounting, reporting and wider business support.The RoleReporting to a senior finance leader, you will support finance operations and help ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance across the business.Responsibilities include:Processing purchase invoices and receiptsPreparing weekly supplier payment runsMaintaining accurate records within the finance system (ERP)Setting up customer and supplier accountsApplying correct GL codingDaily bank reconciliations and expense checksSupporting credit control and AR reportingAssisting with VAT reporting, budgets and forecastingSupporting audits and general finance/office administrationAbout YouYou''ll be a proactive, organised finance professional who thrives in a busy, detail-focused environment.You''ll ideally have:AAT Level 3 (Level 4 preferred)Strong transactional finance experience (AP, bank recs, payment runs)Good Excel and finance systems knowledgeHigh attention to detail and strong communication skillsAbility to prioritise and meet deadlinesA professional and confidential approachBenefits£31,000 - £36,000 salary (DOE)Hybrid ..... full job details .....
